MatchAPro ensures that all traveling surgeons practice in fully functioning hospitals that meet the basic requirements for safe surgery, including having adequately equipped operating rooms that are properly prepared for their services.
Patient Privacy & Data Protection
It is a requirement for every patient to provide written consent to being added to MatchAPro’s portal for treatment before their medical information becomes eligible for review by a visiting surgeon.
Traveling Surgeon Commitment Time
Surgeons are requested to plan their stay for a minimum of 7 days, which should allow sufficient time for all necessary procedures to be completed. Additionally, we ask that the surgeons remain in the area for at least 72 hours after the procedures have been performed to ensure that adequate post-operative care can be provided to the patients.
Travel Surgeon Eligibility To Practice
MatchAPro in conjunction with the respective ministries of health in the country/region will be responsible for ensuring that surgeons are granted eligibility to practice in underserved hospitals ONLY.
